12 Questions for parents considering vaccination.
I have written previously about my belief that parents today need to get back their power and stop the current over dependence on pharmaceutical drugs as the only method of healthcare. Information and making informed decisions is where the real power lies and nowhere is this more vital as when it comes to deciding whether or not to vaccinate our children.
Almost without exception parents want the best for their children and would rather die than put them in harms’ way and it is essential to recognise that it is the constitutional right of each parent to make decisions on behalf of their children. No parent should be condemned, whatever their decision regarding vaccination, PROVIDING they have done their homework and have made an informed decision. This does mean doing some research and not just relying on information given out by the vaccine manufacturers or the majority of health workers trained to dispense these vaccines. If nothing else, you should read the list of known side effects and cautions, produced by the manufacturers, that accompanies all drugs – yes a vaccine is a drug like any other. Whatever your beliefs, there is enough evidence to provoke a debate and both sides of this debate should be of interest. Otherwise you have a ‘fixed belief’ that is closed to any evidence or information that contradicts that belief. That is not Science – it is more akin to a blind faith! True Science is never fixed – it is always open to new discoverys, new evidence & new understanding.
The following questions are what all diligent parents need to ask when confronting the vaccine issue and if you do your research you will be able to reach a decision that you are confident with, one way or the other. As the law states, ‘Ignorance is not a defence’ – parents must know what they are sanctioning to be put into their children’s bodies and what the potential risks are, as well as any benefits. NB you cannot necessarily rely on your Medical Professional to supply you with the answers to these questions, as many simply don’t know or are too busy to do anything other than rely on the leaflets produced by the manufacturers.
1. What exactly are the ingredients in a vaccine?
There are multiple ingredients in a vaccine, not just the disease it’s meant to protect against. There are heavy metals used eg Aluminium and mercury which are capable of crossing the blood brain barrier and are known neuro toxins. But there are also various animal products used including chicken embryos and eggs, monkey kidneys, pig parts and even human foetal material. You may have strong feelings about animal products or your child may have intolerances or allergic reactions to some of these ingredients – even an allergy to eggs could mean a vaccine is not appropriate for your child. Your Government Health Authority should provide you with the relevant ingredient lists and it does vary from country to country. Also don’t forget that some vaccines contain ‘live’ disease elements and therefore anyone that is vaccinated with them will continue to ‘shed’ that live virus for sometime afterwards, thus spreading a form of the disease. NB this is not the same as the ‘wild’ version.
2. What are the recorded risks associated with this vaccine?
Some vaccines have more risk factors recorded than others but all drugs and vaccines carry documented adverse reactions. Are any of the adverse reactions in the same area as possible weaknesses in your own child? Ask yourself which carries the greater risk – the vaccine or the disease? Look at both sets of data and try to stay objective. It is worth noting that pharmaceutical medicine views vaccine damage as occurring within weeks of the vaccination but as Homeopaths we find that such reactions may not be apparent for months or sometimes years after.
What are the associated risks with any of the ingredients of this vaccine? See above in 1. – note any potential allergens for your child or, for example, consider the possible effects of injecting known neurotoxins like aluminium or mercury if your child is already struggling with neurological issues. When I was growing up, children were not vaccinated if they even so much as had a cold, now it doesn’t seem to be taken into account that the immune system may already be dealing with an illness.
3. What are the recorded benefits associated with this vaccine?
Your GP or Health Authority should be able to provide you with this information, but do make sure that this is not data prepared by the vaccine manufacturers or anyone in their employ. Study the death statistics from each of the diseases and note whether the introduction of the relevant vaccines caused a significant reduction in these deaths. These stats are readily available online.
4. What are the recorded risks associated with the actual disease?
The above mentioned death stats are useful here as well, since they clearly show any level of fatalities. Also generally extremely mild diseases like Rubella, (the ‘R’ of MMR), can cause birth abnormalities if contracted during pregnancy but otherwise is so mild as to go unnoticed in the general population. It is known that if you have had Rubella you have lifelong immunity to it, so maybe a test to ascertain whether this is the case before vaccination could be an option, and clearly this risk is not applicable to boys? Mumps is often associated with infertility but boys do not start to produce sperm until they reach puberty and so there is no risk for boys under 12. There are alot of so called statistics being quoted for recent deaths from diseases like Measles and yet when we examine the death statistics kept by various Health Authorities and Governments, these figures are not found. If someone tells you there are people dying from Measles, ask them to show you the statistics that back that up. Official statistics also fail to support recent claims of so-called epidemics and when examined have no basis in truth. They seem, sadly to have been whipped up by the Media – again ask for statistics to support what constitutes an epidemic.
5. How many of the people recorded to be suffering in any current ‘epidemic’ have been vaccinated and how many have not? Ask for any studies done comparing the health of vaccinated people in comparison with un-vaccinated.
6. What are the benefits associated with the actual disease?
‘Say what…?!’ I can hear many of you exclaim!! Yes, there are actually reasons why some of these dis-eases are called ‘childhood dis-eases’. There can be not only a general strengthening of the immune system after these dis-eases but often children are observed as making developmental leaps after doing chicken pox or mumps or measles . I believe, like many, that these dis-eases are actually a kind of house clearing health exercise which enables children to move on to the next level of development. I do not accept the often spouted argument that children in the third world die of these diseases – this is like comparing houses made of paper with those made of brick. Malnourished and immune compromised children die from the common cold, never mind measles, and there is a strong argument for spending money on basic sanitation and good food and water before vaccines. The potentially more threatening diseases eg Polio, Tetanus or Diptheria need to be examined and assessed according to how great the risk of contracting the disease actually is – their prevalence is often location specific or population specific and therefore, for some, the risk is minute, so why vaccinate? Be aware that there is a huge difference in the number of vaccinations being given to todays children in comparison with even 20 years ago. Now fully vaccinatied children in Ireland will have had a total of 12 vaccines with 8 of them being given 3 times and 1 twice by the time they are 13 months old, when I was born 58 years ago we had 2 vaccines. Many of us had chicken pox, mumps, measles etc with no ill effects AND we aquired natural immunity.
7. What is my assessment of my child’s general health/immune system?
This can be difficult for even the most observant parent and this is where a Homeopathic Practitioner can be extremely valuable. Homeopath’s are trained to understand not only a person’s current state of health but also where inherited weaknesses may be and why any particular vaccine may be of particular risk to a particular child. However, at it’s simplest level, if your child has already been identified as, for example, on the autism spectrum, it is not a good idea to ask them to cope with heavy metals or anything that further compromises the gut or their health generally. Ask your extended family about their health and whether they have any history of bad reactions to vaccines – if you start to see a pattern within a family, you would be better to exercise caution.
8. Is there any data to support my child having this vaccine under 2 years of age?
The more time you give your child to strengthen and build up their immune system the better able they will be to fight off and process any potential pathogens or toxins. Many health professionals internationally, believe that vaccines should not be given until a child is at least 2 years old. To my knowledge there have not been any studies done comparing the overall health of vaccinated children to unvaccinated children. However my personal experience and my professional clinical observation would support general health being higher the fewer vaccines taken.
9. What are the risks of having multiple vaccines within weeks of each other?
To my knowledge there have not been any studies completed on the effects of giving children under the age of 5, (or any other age group), multiple vaccines. It seems to me, however, to be simple common sense to minimise the toxic load on a childs developing immune system by spreading out the vaccines as far as possible. I am often told by parents that they have been advised that the toxic ingredients such as Aluminium or mercury within vaccines are far less than acceptable levels, again is this actually true and even if it were, how about the combined levels of multiple vaccines?
10. Is there benefit to spreading any chosen vaccines out over a longer time frame?
Every time we ingest something or inject something into our bodies we have to process and breakdown and re-distribute this substance before we can return to a normal state. What happens if there is no time to do this successfully before the next load is put in? Quite apart from anything else , it will be much clearer to assess any potential changes to your child’s health to be looking at one vaccine at a time.
11. Are there alternative methods of healthcare that will boost my child’s health?
Absolutely! Homeopathic treatment involves taking a detailed case history of every child including the wider family health history and as well as prescribing appropriate remedies can identify specific areas of weakness and where necessary refer to other holistic practitioners such as Nutritional Therapists or Cranio Sacral Practitioners. For example both Vitamin C in high doses and Vitamin A are well proven interventions for reducing mortality rates and associated infections in measles. It has been recognised for a long time in the medical and historic literature, that in well-nourished children “measles is not of major concern”.
12. If Vaccines are 100% safe, can you guarentee me that my child will not be harmed or damaged in any way if I choose to vaccinate? You may also want to ask why there are regular vaccine injury compensation payments awarded regularly in every country including the US? Also why every vaccine comes with a manufacturers leaflet outlining the recorded side effects? Also crucially, if you have not done so already, read that leaflet – you probably would with any other drug, why not a vaccine?
13. If there is an acceptable damage or death rate associated with any drug or vaccine – a kind of ‘sacrifice for the good of the herd’ type argument – what if my child is one of those sacrificed?
Understanding your child’s health – their strengths and their weaknesses – and being able to support them is so enriching. It also ensures that your children will grow up to be healthy adults who will know how to take care of their own children’s health and well-being.
Do not condemn any fellow parent for making what is often a very difficult decision but do encourage them to make that decision from an informed position. It is not easy being a parent these days but we must never, ever relinquish responsibility for what is best for our children.

The NHS tells us that all vaccines are safe. Doctors insist we should all be vaccinated, some that vaccination should be made mandatory. The government, and the mainstream media support this position, they all dismiss any ‘anti-vaccine’ information as ‘fake news’, and seek to censor debate on the issue.
Yet despite this many people, at least 10%, refuse to be vaccinated, or allow their children to be vaccinated. Why? So where do they get their information? And is this information really fake news, or news that the powerful pharmaceutical industry does not like?
Everyone should be able to accept, or refuse vaccines on the basis of all the evidence. Informed choice is important when making decisions about our health. PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLETS
Nobody should ever accept a vaccine without first reading the patient information leaflet that comes with each one. Most patients are not shown these. The documents include the known and accepted side effects of vaccines. Pharmaceutical companies are obliged to supply this information; but it is worth noting that they do not have to include every known vaccine side effect, just those that have been proven beyond further doubt or question. Do not accept your GP or vaccine provider telling you that they don’t have the leaflet or that a summary is available.

Although conventional medicine says that vaccines are safe, many national governments have set up organisations whose task it is to recompense people who have been injured by these ‘safe’ vaccines.

The UK Government has paid out about £73 million to nearly 1000 children and adults, representing 1 in 8 claimants who were a minimum of 60% injured by a vaccine between 1979-2014. WHAT IS THE LIKELIHOOD OF VACCINE DAMAGE?
Conventional medicine, when not denying that vaccine can cause serious damage to health, claim that such damage is ‘rare’.
Obviously the rarity of this damage is off little assistance to those who become one of the ‘rare exceptions’ to the claimed safety of vaccines.
Yet how rare is vaccine damage? Conventional medicine assesses rarity through the number of reported cases of vaccine damage set against the number of people who are vaccinated. Yet studies show that only between 1% and 10% of drug side effects are ever reported, or recorded. This means that vaccines are between 10 times, and 100 times less rare than is admitted.
Reporting vaccine damage might even be lower than this, as doctors have been so busy trying to convince us that vaccines are safe, they can often be found denying that ill-health following vaccination has anything to do with the vaccine.
VACCINES AND INFORMED CHOICE
The decision to vaccinate, or not to vaccinate, should be based on the best information available to us. Conventional medicine will continue to claim that vaccines are safe, indeed essential to our health. The information contained within all the links referred to in this article suggests that it is not so.
Indeed, evidence that vaccines can cause harm can be found within conventional medical literature, for instance, in the Patient Information Leaflets, mentioned above.
Everyone should make an informed choice about vaccination, but it is not possible to make an informed decision unless the evidence that vaccines cause harm is fully considered, alongside the claims made by conventional medicine that they are safe.
