This course was born out of my own experience as a highly stressed working Mum who dreaded my young kids getting ill because it meant unscheduled time off work, increased anxiety levels and more guilt and worry around whether I was doing the right thing. I’m combining both my first hand knowledge as a Practitioner and my first hand experience of being a busy Mum so that you can have a simple, easy to use, practical knowledge of how to use Homeopathic Remedies to help in a variety of minor illnesses and avoid being over reliant on your GP or A&E.

When my own children were very young, I discovered Homeopathic remedies and learnt how to use them, and it really transformed my life, taking away a continual source of worry and anxiety. The first time my husband and I witnessed giving my toddler a remedy and her screaming earache pain stopping like a switch being flipped, it was amazing and so empowering! I want this feeling and these results to be available for you too. Workshop content?
Workshop 1 – Homeopathy – what is it and how can it help me? How our bodies work when we are ill. How to select & give remedies. What to expect when we give them. Why using Homeopathy for minor illnesses helps stop the more major illnesses. Leave feeling confident & knowledgeable about why and how Homeopathy is an excellent alternative to using pharmaceutical drugs to manage minor illness. You will also be eager to learn more and start prescribing!
Workshop 2 – ‘Childrens Health’. How to avoid using Calpol & why that’s a good thing. Using Homeopathy for fevers, coughs, colds, tummy upsets, teething issues, colic, and much more! Leave feeling able to start using Homeopathy instead of drugs when your kids are ill and know exactly how often to give remedies and when to stop or change a remedy.
Workshop 3 – ‘What about Mum?! Womens Health’ Helping exhaustion, irritability, menstrual problems, pregnancy & breastfeeding issues, sleep, low libido and much more! Leave knowing that you have access to great natural solutions to many of the common female issues that contribute to you feeling like a poor version of yourself!

Something to write on and an open mind! The venue supplies Hot water for tea & I will supply a selection of herbal tea bags & the biscuits! You are welcome to bring your own refreshments if you prefer.

Some of you may worry about:-
Can I use remedies if my children are taking prescribed medication?
Yes, in the majority of cases you can. It will be the remedies that have to work hard to get through any medication and not the other way around. Homeopathic remedies have the advantage over Herbal remedies in this regard since some herbal remedies are contraindicated with some drugs.
Will I have enough knowledge to start using a kit straight away?
Yes, because remedies are so safe and gentle, even if you do not pick the most appropriate remedy the worst that can happen is nothing changes! The more you prescribe and witness successes the faster you will learn. Also you will have the facebook support group to ask questions on and share your results.
I’m not currently using Facebook so how will I take advantage of the support group?
Unfortunately you won’t be able to, since the group will only exist on the Facebook platform at the moment. It is a closed group which means no one outside the group can see your posts and it can be a wonderful way to get support from a like-minded community of people as well as regular access to me for general advice. So maybe its time to set up on Facebook and become part of that community? You can opt to receive my regular email newsletter which contains tips and advice on remedies & other natural healthcare options. You can also book a paid 15 min telephone call with me to get specific advice whenever you need it.
How will I know that the remedies are working?
You will learn during the course, exactly what to look for and how to closely observe your patient and understand their reactions so you can assess improvements. Most of the time improvements are obvious!
I’ve heard that Homeopathy can take a long time to work?
Absolutely not true! When treating acute illness, results can and must be quick and if you have chosen the right remedy, you will see immediate changes. You will learn what changes to look for and why they are appropriate indications of improvement.
Do I have to buy a remedy kit, where do I get one, how much are they and how long do they last?
You do not have to buy a remedy kit but much of the practical elements of the course will be working on the assumption that you do have the majority of the remedies included in a kit and it will be difficult to start practising without having the relevent remedies to hand.
The basic kits are available from Helios Pharmacy at a special, discounted rate once you sign up for the course – (depending on exchange rates, they cost approx €55plus P&P) – they include 36 remedies in 2g glass bottles that can be re-filled individually and an instruction booklet . The kits do have a use by date which they are obliged to do, but remedies do not go out of date if stored correctly – the course will teach you how to do this.
I try to have a few available in stock from my online shop – (but I am unable to supply the Helios discount.) I have had mine for about 20 years now and it’s how I first started using Homeopathy!
Will I get my money back if I have to cancel?
There are only a limited number of places available and your payment secures your place. €50 of this payment stands as a non-refundeable deposit to cover the cost of the room hire etc. Therefore any refund due will have this deposit deducted from the total amount. Refunds are at my discretion and will be subject to how much notice is given. Please note that you will not be eligible for any refund if you fail to attend without notifying me, either for one workshop or the whole course. In extenuating circumstances that mean you can’t attend, if you find someone who is willing to take your place, just let me know & providing there is no one on my waiting list, I can accomodate that.
